KING: HOLD YOUR BETS ON MY WAY  Latest Transfer

Alan King has reiterated that a decision on where My Way De Solzen runs at Cheltenham Festival will be made as late as possible.

And the Barbury Castle trainer could not be clearer in telling the betting public that if the ground is genuinely soft on the first day, he will run in the Arkle Trophy.

The novice holds three entries at the meeting, although the Ryanair Chase for experienced chasers is the only alternative being considered at this stage.

"The ground will be the deciding factor," explained King. "If it's soft ground he will go for the Arkle and if it dries up he will go for the Ryanair.

"The SunAlliance is completely out of the picture now though.

"I really don't know where My Way will end up yet though and there is no point me saying something now and changing my mind next week," he told At The Races.

"Robert (Thornton) schooled him this morning and he jumped six fences - I couldn't be happier with him.

"We opened up our grass gallops about 10 days ago and his work has been a joy to watch.

"I think people should wait before they have a bet. I'm trying to be as clear as possible and we are waiting to see what the ground is like.

"There is no point me saying he is definitely running in one and then switching to the other so I'm leaving my options open."
