NO PROBLEMS AT HEREFORD  Latest Transfer

Saturday afternoon's meeting at Hereford goes ahead as planned after a morning inspection was cancelled.

Officials had expected overnight conditions to drop below freezing but temperatures remained above zero.

There had also been problems anticipated with fog but Gemma Charrington, clerk of the course, revealed there had been no problems on that score either.

"Racing goes ahead," said Charrington.

"We had no frost at all and there is no fog either so we have had a result.

"There is a slight going change though, we are now good to soft, soft in places."
