This brand new all weather racecourse is due to hold its first meeting in November 2006.

Course Description

Great Leighs is an exciting new left handed racecourse which spreads out over 8 and a half furlongs. The racecourse is unique in that is currently the only all weather track of its type in the United Kingdom.

Facilities

The new Grandstand at Great Leighs boasts 5 storeys of racing bliss. Featuring 40 hospitality boxes, a dine and view restaurant for 750 customers and year round racing this racecourse promises to be a spectacular day out.. In addition there are a number of bars and eating establishments.

Directions

By Car: Great Leighs is five miles north of Chelmsford on the A131

By Rail: To Chelmsford (27min) from Liverpool Street. Bus shuttles to the racecourse will operate on race-days.
