Course Description

Goodwood racecourse runs right-handed and is loop shaped. The circuit features some sharp bends and meanders along the way. The racecourse also features a straight 6 furlong course for the sprint races..

Facilities

The Richmond Enclosure (Members): Punters are welcome all year round in this enclosure with the exception of the week of Glorious Goodwood when the enclosure is exclusively reserved for annual members and corporate clients. Check out the Charlton and March stands which give customers access to the parade ring and winners enclosure.  The enclosure caters for all tastes with The Double Trigger, Charlton Hunt and Horsewalk restaurants offering seafood, carvery and formal four course dining.

The Gordon Enclosure:  Punters are given access to the Sussex Grandstand and offers punter an extensive range of licensed bars and food outlets.

The Public Enclosure: Situated directly next to the finishing straight this enclosure is perfect for all the family, picnicking is welcome and there are multiple bars and food outlets decorating enclosure.

Directions

By Car: The course is approximately four miles north of Chichester and can be acccessed via the A27, A286 or the A285.

By Rail: The nearest station is Chichester. A bus is available on racedays to take racegoers to the course from the station.
