Course Description
Chester racecourse runs left handed for a distance of 1 mile and is circular in shape. With tight bends and a level surface it makes for dramatic racing.
Facilities
The County Stand Enclosure: Customers are treated to superb views of the racecourse as well as excellent some facilities including: The County Stand Restaurant serving a Table D'Hote menu. The Concourse Room has a variety of bars and food outlets. The Long Room serves snacks and refreshments.
The Tattersalls Enclosure: The Tattersalls stand gives punters excellent views of the racecourse as well as the opportunity to visit a number of bars and catering outlets. In addition Tattersalls Badge holders also have access to the Paddock and Parade Ring area, where both The Pavilion Bar and The Champagne Bar are situated.
The Dee Stand: This enclosure offers punter good value for money with a range of facilites at an excellent price. Food and drinks for all tastes are catered for.
The Open Course Enclosure: This enclosure is ideal for families with plenty of picnic opportunities. A range of bars and fast food outlets are available in this enclosure.
Directions
By Car: The course is south-east of Chester city centre. Follow the signs from the, junction 14 of the M56.
By Rail: Chester racecourse is situated just 1 mile from Chester railway station.
