Course Description

Ayr racecourse is made up of the Flat and National Hunt circuits both of which are left handed and for the main part flat. At 1 mile 2 furlongs long the circuits are strongly suited to horses with a flair for sprinting. There are nine fences per circuit of the chase course with a 210yrd run-in.

Facilities

Food & Drink: The enclosures feature licensed bars and restaurants and a range of eating outlets.  Ayr racecourse is family friendly and features play areas for children.

Directions

By Car: You can approach Ayr from either north or south by using the A77 and continuing on the bypass. Ayr racecourse is sign posted from there on in. The course is on your left approximately a mile from the bypass junction. Car parking is available close to the main stand and is free.

By Rail:. Regular local and main-line services are available to Ayr and the racecourse is only a short walk from the station.
