Course Description
Southwell Racecourse consists of an All Weather left handed 1mile 2 furlong course and turf course on the inside of the all weather course. This course is used for National Hunt races and flat fixtures and consists of 7 fair jumps contrasted with sharp bends.
Facilities
The Members Enclosure: Customers can opt for upmarket dining in the lovely Queen Mother Restaurant or for less formal eating the Pantry has a selection of homemade hot dishes, a cold meat salad buffet and desserts.
The Tattersalls Enclosure: A number of bars and restaurants are available to the punter which are scattered amongst betting facilities. Check out the Paddock for some great beef sandwiches.
Directions
By Car: The course is just outside the village of Rolleston off the A617, between the M1 and A1.
By Rail: Rolleston station is adjacent to the course. Rolleston is on the Nottingham to Newark line and is served by frequent trains from both stations.
