Course Description
Sandown racecourse is an oval track running right handed and features an uphill finish. The Jumps Course runs for 1 mile five furlongs and has 11challenging fences.
Facilities
The Premier Enclosure: Customers have access to a wonderful array of high end eateries and bars. Particularly good is the Laurent Perrier Champagne and Seafood Bar or for more informal dining the Cavalry Bistro and Bar which does not require pre booking..
The Grandstand Enclosure: Punters have superb views of the race track and are well catered for. Particularly good are the Diamond Edge and Ember Bars which serve an extensive range of alcoholic refreshments.
The Course Enclosure: In the course enclosure you’ll find many places to eat and drink and you’ll be right up close to the racing action.
Directions
By Car: The course is 15 miles south-west of London just off the A307 and is very well signposted.
By Rail: Esher railway station is adjacent to the back straight of the racecourse. Racegoers can walk along the platform before taking a short cut at the end of the platform which brings them to the turnstiles half way down the back straight.
