Course Description

Pontefract Racecourse runs for two miles in length and is oval shaped. With tight bends and a long uphill finish it makes for ideal racing action.

Facilities

Club Enclosure: Punters get the chance to visit the exclusive Park Suite Restaurant which serves up an exquisite buffet lunch and afternoon tea. In addition to this there are multiple bars and eating establishments which cater for all as well as extensive betting facilities.

Directions

By Car: The racecourse is half a mile from junction 32 of the M62. The M62 passes the northern side of the track and links with the A1, M1 and M18 within 10 miles of the Course

By Rail: Pontefract Tanshelf station (via Wakefield) is adjacent to the course gates. Pontefract Monkhill (via Leeds) is 1 mile.
