Lingfield Racecourse Description

Lingfield racecourse is a superb all weather track which runs for 1 mile 2 furlongs. The straight is 2 furlongs in length. The surface has recently been replaced with polytrack, a superb all weather surface.

The Members Enclosure: Customers in this enclosure can choose from many places to eat such as the superb Trackside Carvery Restaurant which has spectacular views of the track. In this enclosure you’ll also find a brassiere and the upmarket Champagne and Seafood restaurant. To avoid disappointment it’s recommended that you pre book tables in the restaurants. Punters also have access to the other areas of the racecourse.

The Grandstand Enclosure: Customers in this enclosure are treated to the main Grandstand, Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure. A whole host of restarants and bars ae available to the punter including an Italian, Fish and chip restaurant and sports bar. There really is something for everyone here. The enclosure features superb betting facilities.

Directions

By Car: Follow the brown tourist signs to Lingfield Park from the M25 at junction 6 and pick up the A22 southbound towards East Grinstead and Eastbourne. Proceed on the A22 for about 4 miles to Blindley Heath Just after the Texaco filling station turn sharp left at traffic lights on the B2029 to Lingfield , approx 2 miles. Keep on through the village and the racecourse is at the bottom of the hill beyond Lingfield High street.

By Rail: Victoria Station London to Lingfield Station is a 50 minute journey, then a 5 minute walk from the station to Lingfield Park Racecourse.
