Course Description
Kempton Park racecourse is a newly opened all weather, floodlit racecourse in Sunbury on Thames, London. This extremely slick operation features year round racing and fantastic facilities.
The main track at Kempton Park stretches for 10 furlongs long and is oval. The track plays host to 6f, 7f ,1m, 1m3f, 1m4f and 2mile races. In addition a smaller 8 furlong track is used for sprints.
The floodlit racecourse makes this an exciting place for night meetings.
Facilities
The Premier Suite: This enclosure offers customers a great range of facilities and is located on the first floor of the main Grandstand. A bar, bistro and comfy seating area all feature in this comfortable enclosure. Punters also have access to betting Ring, Grandstand steppings, seating and Finishing Post lawn area.
The Paddock Enclosure: Customers in this enclosure can expect a welcoming atmosphere in this enclosure. Located on the ground floor of the main Grandstand, the paddock enclosure at Kempton Park has bars, fast food restaurants and the usual betting facilites. Punters have access to Betting Ring, Grandstand steppings and trackside lawn.
Directions
By Car: Located on the A308 between Sudbury on Thames and Hampton Court. The course is less than 1 mile from junction 1 of the M3 via junction 12 of the M25.
By Rail: The course now boasts its own on site station which is situated 200 yards from the Premier Enclosure entrance. Trains will run every half hour from Waterloo. The journey time being approx. 40 minutes.
