Course Description

Bangor-on-Dee is set in the beautiful Welsh countryside and is unique in that it is Britain’s only racecourse NOT to feature a grandstand.
The left handed, oval shaped course is 1 mile 4 furlong and features some challenging tight bends. In total Bangor features nine fences to a lap of its course two of which are open ditches with another being a water jump.

Facilities

The Course and Paddock Enclosures feature licensed bars a restaurant and a selection of other eating outlets.

Directions

By Road: From the M6, take the A525 to Whitchurch. Racegoers arriving from the South should use the A5.

By Rail: Travel directly to Wrexham where you will be directed to free bus service which runs specifically for punters at Bangor-on-Dees racecourse..
