| Robinson seals permanent move to Norwich |
Norwich City have secured the permanent capture of Sunderland's Carl Robinson for £50,000.
It was thought a chest injury might scupper the transfer, but the midfielder is recovering well and The Canaries have now pushed through the deal.
Norwich boss Nigel Worthington is delighted to have secured Robinson, who had fallen down The Black Cats' pecking order this season, permanently.
"Carl has made a good impact since joining us on loan," Worthington told the club's official website.
"I'm delighted to strengthen the squad by signing him up for the long-term."
Even though injury is ruling Robinson out of playing, he is enjoying his time at Carrow Road is looking forward to helping to club return to The Premiership.
"I have enjoyed my spell here so far, even though it's been cut slightly short through injury, and I'm delighted to be here now on a full-time basis," he said.
Robinson, who made seven Championship starts prior to collecting the injury, has penned a two-and-a-half year deal with the Norfolk outfit.
