Rangers starlet joins Doncaster on loan
Young Rangers forward Ross McCormack has joined League One side Doncaster Rovers on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 19-year-old made his mark for The Gers by netting a crucial equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Porto in November, a strike that played an integral role in the Glasgow side becoming the first Scottish team to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.

Despite his dramatic European intervention, McCormack has been struggling to carve out a spot under Alex McLeish and has now headed south in a bid to accrue some regular first team football.

"I'm really excited with the move and I'm going down there to score a few goals and to get some regular football," McCormack told the Scottish Sun.

"I got frustrated on the bench and I didn't think the chance was going to come this season.

"So I thought this would be the time to go out and get some experience. But after that I'll be back up at Rangers."

Meanwhile Doncaster are also being tipped to follow up their capture of Sheffield Wednesday's Graeme Lee by also raiding The Owls for striker David Graham.
