| Vitesse land Junker in four year deal |
Vitesse Arnhem have clinched the signing of striker Mads Junker.
The Danish forward, from FC Nordsjaelland, has been lined up to replace the prolific Matthew Amoah, who was sold to Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund this winter.
Junker has scored 15 goals in his last 20 domestic games in Denmark, and will join Vitesse for €2 million (£1.37 million).
Vitesse, who have lost four of their last five league games, have offered the 24-year-old a contract that runs to 2010.
"I can confirm that Mads Junker will join Vitesse," said the player's agent Karsten Aabrink.
"The two clubs have reached an agreement and the contract will probably be signed in the next day or two.
"It seems like a good place to continue the career."
