| Fontana Signs Year Deal With Chievo |
Chievo have signed Alberto Fontana from Internazionale.
The veteran custodian has penned a one-year deal with the Verona based side.
Chievo have been searching for a new goalkeeper after seeing Luca Marchegiani leave when his contract expired and Julio Cesar Soares Espindola moving to Internazionale.
Meanwhile, new Chievo coach Giuseppe Pillon is looking forward to his first season in charge and admits survival is his main aim.
"I'm happy to be here and to be part of this club," said Pillon.
"This is my first Serie A season, I'm sure that with hard work and everyone's collaboration we will do good things.
"The fundamental aim? Securing Serie A salvation as soon as possible."
