| Emerson Moves To Greece |
Former Middlesbrough and Rangers midfielder Emerson has signed for Greek outfit Skoda Xanthi.
Emerson was first brought to England by then Middlesbrough manager Bryan Robson but left The Premiership following the club's relegation.
The Brazilian schemer has inked a two-year deal at Skoda - the latest chapter in a well travelled career that has seen him ply his trade at Middlesbrough, Atletico Madrid, Porto, Deportivo La Coruna and Rangers.
Emerson becomes the third Brazilian in a week to be unveiled at the Uefa Cup new boys following the acquisitions of Leo Mineiro and Kleytom Lima Tipusio.
The 33-year-old will be looking to add a wealth of experience to the club - who will compete in European competition for the first time next season.
