Rennes will be without first-choice keeper Andreas Isaksson for up to a month.
The Sweden international collected a knock against Strasbourg at the weekend and has been recovering since.
Isaksson has undergone a scan and has been told he needs to rest for at least three weeks before returning to training.
The 24-year-old has bemoaned the timing of the injury as he will miss Rennes' upcoming Uefa Cup clash against Stuttgart and crucial Championnat games.
"I had pains all weekend," Isaksson told Expressen. "It's a serious strain. I'm expecting to need three weeks' rest.
"I will miss several important matches in the league and Uefa Cup. But I've got to accept the situation." |
