Hearts have decided against offering a contract to former German international striker Fredi Bobic after a trial.
The 33-year-old is a free agent after leaving Hertha Berlin in the summer and has previously played for Bolton, Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund.
"He trained with the club for a couple of days, however he will not be joining Hearts," said a club spokesperson.
Bobic said he is keen to continue playing in Europe but he is thought to have had offers from Middle East teams.
