Daniel Ponce De Leon defended his WBO super-bantamweight title for the third time in Texas on Saturday night.
De Leon stopped Al Seeger in the eighth round to claim victory. He has now won 28 of his 31 fights inside the distance wth just one defeat.
The challenger was outclassed from the start and was floored in the fifth round.
That was the beginning of the end for Seeger and the referee halted proceedings in the eighth.
Meanwhile in Colombia on Saturday, the unbeaten Ivan Calderon retained his WBO minimumweight title with a points win over Jose Luis Varela.
